Nickel fluoride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula NiF2, which is generally a yellowish green or yellowish square crystal system at room temperature and pressure, hygroscopic and slightly soluble in water.
Used as fluorinating agent, catalyst in the synthesis of xenon hexafluoride (XeF6), aluminium alloy sealer.
