Application Fields:

It is used as auxiliary dyeing agent for dissolving sulphur dyes in printing and dyeing industry. It is used for hydrolysis in leather industry to make rawhide dehairing, and also used to formulate sodium polysulfide to accelerate the softening of dry leather immersion. Used as cooking agent for paper in papermaking industry. In textile industry, it is used for denitrification of man-made fibre and reduction of nitrified matter, as well as mordant for dyeing of cotton fabrics. Pharmaceutical industry for the production of antipyretic drugs such as finasteride. In addition, it is also used in the production of sodium thiosulfate, sodium hydrosulfide, sodium polysulfide and so on.

2, in the aluminium and alloy alkaline etching solution by adding appropriate amount of sodium sulfide can significantly improve the etching surface quality, but also can be used for alkaline etching solution such as zinc and other alkali-soluble heavy metal impurities removal.

3, sodium sulfide can also be used for direct plating in the conductive layer of the treatment, through the reaction of sodium sulfide and palladium to generate colloidal palladium sulfide to achieve the formation of a good conductive layer of non-metallic surfaces.

4、Used as corrosion inhibitor. It is also the raw material of sodium thiosulphate, sodium polysulphide, sulphide dyes and so on.
