Uses:

Used as glass etching agent, disinfectant, antiseptic, solvent of beryllium metal, surface treatment agent of silicone steel plate, also used in the manufacture of ceramics and magnesium alloy.

It can be used as chemical reagent, glass etchant (often used with hydrofluoric acid), disinfectant and antiseptic in fermentation industry, solvent of beryllium metal from beryllium oxide, and surface treatment agent of silicone steel plate. It is also used in the manufacture of ceramics, magnesium alloys, the cleaning and descaling of boiler feed water system and steam generating system, and the acidification treatment of oil field sand and gravel. It is also used as a catalyst component for alkylation and isomerisation.

Used in oil field acidification treatment, manufacture of magnesium and magnesium alloy. Used as a matting, frosting and etching agent for glass, as a protective agent for wood, as a brightening agent for aluminium, as a descaling agent in the textile industry, and as an analytical reagent in the electroplating and electronic industries.

Used as analytical reagent and bacterial inhibitor.
